Patricia Highsmith's novel "Ripley's Game" is skillfully adapted into this Hitchcock-style thriller by Wim Wenders. A modest picture-framer, who believes he's terminally ill, is dragged into the seedy criminal underworld by an amoral art dealer who convinces him to carry out a Mob hit.
